Celebration of Constitution Day

As you are aware, 26th November is celebrated as Constitution Day to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India. Every year, a number of activities aimed at highlighting and reiterating the values and principles enshrined in the constitution are organized as part of the celebrations.
In view of above, the schools may organize following activities to celebrate Constitution Day:

1. An important part of the celebrations is reading of the Preamble to the Constitution of India. A provision has been made on MyGov portal to ‘Read the Preamble’ online and download a certificate. The link for the same is: https://www.mygov.in/read-the-preamble-india/
2. Quiz, essay writing and poster making competitions may be organized for students of the school.
3. Other activities including talks/ webinars on constitutional values and fundamentals of the Indian Constitution may also be organized.
